SM3 PRO | 3" Extended Range Midrange Driver

The SM3 PRO is a 3 inch midrange driver with extended range, designed for active systems. Its response from 120 to 15,000 Hz covers the main vocal and instrumental range, while its 35 mm mounting depth makes it practical for installations where space is limited.

Advanced Wood and Fiberglass Sandwich Construction

The SM3 PRO uses a three layer sandwich cone made from wood and fiberglass. Its aluminum dust cap has a copper finish. Designed for active operation, it can be paired with German Maestro midbass and tweeter drivers across our range to create a front stage with a dedicated midrange.

It can also be paired with German Maestro boxed active systems. Examples include the EV 6508-A from the EPIC series, the SV 6509-A from the STATUS series, and the MS 6.2-A from the M-Line. Adding the SM3 PRO creates a front stage with separate midbass, midrange, and tweeter drivers.

Every German Maestro speaker is proudly designed, engineered, and assembled by our team in our own factory in Obrigheim, Germany. More than 100 hours of listening and testing went into refining the SM3 PRO during development.
